This privacy policy applies to the Spentracker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Codrantech (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

This Application is designed to help users record and manage their spending or expenses only. It does not include any income tracking feature.

• Current Data Collection: SpenTracker does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal or financial information to external servers. All data created within the application remains stored locally on your device.
• Future Updates: Should future versions of the application introduce features requiring data collection, we will update this policy accordingly and provide clear advance notice.
• Email Communication: If you contact us directly via email, your email address and any provided information will be used solely to respond to your inquiry and support requests. We do not sell or share your contact details.

• Local Ownership: Because we practice a strict privacy-first model, all transaction history, images, and logs are stored exclusively on your local device under your control.
• User Responsibility & Disclaimer: You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of your local files. SpenTracker is provided "as is," and we accept no liability for any loss, corruption, or damage to your data caused by device malfunction, accidental deletion, or system failure.

• Offline Ledger Processing: SpenTracker supports manual logging of select cryptocurrency values purely as an accounting preference. We do not process, validate, store, or transmit live blockchain transactions, private keys, or wallet addresses.
• Precision & Balance Boundaries:To maintain app stability and accurate mathematical rendering, maximum manual input and display balances are currently limited as follows:
  • BTC, DOGE, LTC: Up to 1,000.00000000 units (8-decimal precision).
  • TRX, USDC, ETH, USDT: Up to 10,000.000000 units (6-decimal precision).
• Valuation Disclaimer: All cryptocurrency entries are tracked locally based on user-entered values or local calculations. The app does not act as a financial exchange, crypto custodian, or official wallet, and we accept no liability for discrepancies between local logs and real-time market valuations.

To protect the Application and its users from abuse, we utilize Firebase App Check. This service helps verify that requests sent to our backend originate from our authentic app on an untampered device. This involves the collection of device attestation material and device metadata (such as OS version and model). This data is processed according to the privacy policies of the attestation providers (e.g., Google Play Integrity).

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

• Current Status: Advertisements are temporarily disabled within SpenTracker to provide an ad-free experience during our initial launch phase. However, ads can be enabled at any time according to our operational necessities.
• Activation Notice: While ads are currently hidden, the application integrates the official Google AdMob SDK. We reserve the right to enable or adjust in-app advertisements at any time without prior individual notice to support ongoing development and maintenance.
• Third-Party Data Handling: When advertisements are active, they are served via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process non-personally identifiable device identifiers (such as Advertising IDs) according to Google AdMob’s Privacy Policy.

Images uploaded by users are automatically cropped to 640 x 640 pixels and may experience a slight reduction in quality to optimize performance and storage eficiency.

Our app uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) to allow users to access, view, and manage their own files. This means the app does not access files automatically or in the background — users must manually select the files or folders they wish to use. We do not collect, store, or share any file content unless explicitly selected by the user and only for the purpose of the app’s functionality.

Our app may request permission to send you notifications, this includes push notifications for updates, reminders, or important information related to the apps functionality.
We do not collect or store any personal data through notifications. You can manage or disable notification permissions at any time through your device's settings

Currently our app does not provide a PIN recovery feature. You are responsible for remembering your PIN. If it is lost, access to your account cannot be restored. We highly recommend saving your PIN in a secure location.

• Architecture Upgrade Notice: Due to a total framework and data model overhaul in SpenTracker (Version 1.4 and above), database structures from versions prior to 1.4 are incompatible with this release.
• Fresh Start Required: Data created on versions earlier than 1.4 cannot be migrated or restored into this version. Upgrading will require starting with a clean local database.
• Manual Record Keeping: If you are updating from a version prior to 1.4, please manually record or export any critical financial logs before installing this update.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. If you are NOT consenting with this Privacy Policy, please do not install or use our applications.
